Bookings for The Grange Estate are now being accepted, with guest stays expected to begin from May 2026, subject to final regulatory sign-off.
The estate has been designed for discerning guests seeking something more than traditional accommodation. Every stay is offered on an entirely exclusive basis, allowing guests to enjoy the estate as their own private retreat whether for family gatherings, corporate stays, wellness retreats, or creative residencies.
The residence itself extends to approximately 9,000 square feet across three levels and can accommodate up to fourteen guests across six bedrooms, with a nursery available if required. The home combines generous living spaces with an extensive private leisure suite that includes an indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, cinema snug, and both indoor and outdoor hot tubs.
Beyond the house, the estate is surrounded by landscaped gardens and open countryside. Guests can enjoy a five-a-side astro football pitch, children’s play area, and secure gated access with private parking for up to fifteen vehicles. The setting creates an atmosphere that is both calm and inspiring, making it ideal for everything from family celebrations to leadership retreats and restorative escapes.
What makes The Grange Estate truly special is its story. For more than a decade, the property served as the family home of owner Nicola Williams, shared with her late husband and their family. Over those years the house was thoughtfully developed and refined, with extraordinary care taken in every detail.
As Nicola explains, the decision to open the estate to guests was deeply personal.
“This has been our family home for over ten years and it holds extraordinary memories for us. Because of that, absolutely nothing has been done by halves. Every detail has been carefully considered and every space designed to feel calm, comfortable, and beautifully finished. Opening The Grange Estate to guests is about sharing something very special.”
This sense of authenticity defines the experience. The Grange Estate is not designed to feel like a hotel or commercial venue. Instead, it offers the warmth and comfort of a well-loved home combined with the facilities and scale of a luxury retreat.
The estate operates on a luxury-without-intrusion philosophy. The property is not staffed as standard, allowing guests complete privacy and freedom. For those who wish to enhance their stay, an optional House Manager service is available to coordinate curated experiences through a trusted network of vetted suppliers. These may include private chefs, catering, chauffeurs, wellbeing practitioners, and event services.
Day-to-day estate operations and guest experience are overseen by Estates Manager Louise Shepherd, ensuring that every stay meets the exceptional standards the estate has been designed to deliver.
